Life?!#@*&^%$@%^&!

I really don't understand why I am here. I think all I do is waist other people's time, and in the case of my parents, their money. I do nothing worthwhile. I feel like I am waisting my parents money on college, just like I have waisted it on toys in my younger days. I don't know what I want to do with my life. I can't seem to find any girls that would ever be interested in me. It just fucking blows ass!!!

Maytag Takeover

So, Whirlpool will be buying Maytag for $1.68 billion. I have two views on this: 1) On one hand I fervently believe in the freedom to buy what you want when you want it as long as your not damaging someone. 2) On the other hand, two of the biggest names in home appliances becoming one can't be good for competition in the market-place or for prices, so maybe this is harming people?

I'm not really sure what to think on issues like this because each side seems to have points that I heartedly agree with.

Could Gamers Lose More Rights?

This article by wired is pretty interesting. On one hand, it makes legal sense for the government to get involved in the MMORPG's that one can sell items or currency for real, non-virtual money. On the other hand, it is scary that the government would get involved in online gaming, it seems that the government is already violating enough privacy without monitoring online games. The author of the article presents a viable happy medium, let the government crack down on the hackers that fuck over your account, but don't monitor actual game play, including the sales of items for non-virtual currency, somethings should just not be subject to income taxes. Raise the income taxes on the highest 10% to the levels before Reagan took office, and leave some areas sacred.
